LEGAL NOTICE

 

 

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Reynoldsburg, Ohio (“Owner”) until 11:00 a.m., local time, on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Reynoldsburg Municipal Building, 7232 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068, for all labor, material, and services necessary for the Former Big Bear COAF Project, Asbestos Abatement, Demolition, and Construction Debris Removal (the “Project”), as more fully described in the Contract Documents prepared by Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.  (“Design Professional”).  Bids received after this time will not be accepted.  Bids will be opened publicly and read immediately thereafter.  Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s).  Direct questions about the Project to Mr. Ron Wells, CP at 8740 Orion Place, Suite 100, Columbus, Ohio 43240 (614) 540-6633 or (888) 598-6808.

 

The engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost is $ 393,403.00

 

Bids must be in accordance with specifications and on forms available from the City of Reynoldsburg, Municipal Building, 7232 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068, Attention: Nadine Morse at a non‑refundable cost of Fifty Dollars ($50.00).

 
Contract Documents may be reviewed without charge during business hours at the following location: Development Department, Reynoldsburg Municipal Building, 7232 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068, Ohio.

 

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier’s check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
 
This is a prevailing wage project.

 

No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening.  The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best bidder for each contract.
