Part-Time Maintenance Worker for the Parks & Recreation Dept.
This is a civil service classified, part-time position (32 hrs/week).
Duties include maintenance on park grounds and facilities (repairs, minor electrical and plumbing and basic carpentry) and routine maintenance to trucks, mowers and some heavy duty equipment. Requires h.s. diplima or GED, 6 months experience with shop, hand and power tools, operation and maintenance of tractors, trucks and mowers, a valid Ohio driver's license with a good record, and have or be able to possess a Class B CDL within 12 months of employment. Preferred candidates will possess a CDL at time of application,
2 years of college and pesticide certificate.
