JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
Applications for the following seasonal positions with the Parks and Recreation Dept. are being accepted at this time:
For all of the positions, you must be at least 18 yrs of age w/high school diploma or equivalent, possess a valid driver's license w/good record, get along well w/staff and the public and pass a background check including drug screening.
Maintenance: a variety of general maintenance/custodial tasks in the City parks, 25-40 hrs/wk (may include weekends/holidays). Requires exp. w/general maintenance/construction, power tools, mowers, tractors. $8.50 per hour.
Playground Program: Plays an active role in oganizing, planning and implementing all aspects of the summer camp program w/direct responsibility for supervision and safety of camp participants. Requires exp. in general childcare and the ability to obtain and maintain basic first aide and CPR certification. $8.00 per hour.
Site Supervisor: Responsible for maintaining proper and smooth youth and adult game operations and department sponsored events. Requires exp. and/or education in sports and the ability to obtain basic first aid and CPR certification. $8.50 per hour.
