Mayor Brad McCloud is a long-time resident of
Reynoldsburg, having graduated from
Reynoldsburg
High School in 1979. He worked at a local grocery store to earn his way through college and law school, graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology in 1983 and from
Capital
University with a Law Degree in 1987. He bought his first home in the Huber Subdivision in 1983, later lived in the historic district of Old Reynoldsburg and presently resides in the Briarcliff area at
912 Rosehill Road.
Brad is an attorney licensed to practice in all state and county courts in the State of
Ohio as well as in the Southern District Federal Court. He previously served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services, the Governor’s research and planning agency for all issues regarding criminal justice. From 1992 through 2003, he was the elected President of Reynoldsburg City
Council. He also served as Assistant Legal Counsel at the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Brad is married to Stephanie, also an attorney, has a daughter who is a graduate of
Reynoldsburg
High School and a six-year-old son. They are members of the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church.
